Rare and unusual Octagonal Shape. Metropolitan Museum of New York replica of antique American colonial table. Even though this is a replica it bears resemblance to a modern Scandinavian style table with very clean lines and smooth matte finish. Multiple use accent, side, end entryway, hall or game table. Or use to display Plants, Candles, Urn, or to serve wine, tea, cookies, pastries. Believe this to be made of Maple wood but could be Cherry and of high-quality craftsmanship and beautiful matte finish. Measures 13" diameter x 25" height and 15" base. Leg stand has turned wood detail. Very clean, contemporary look. Solid and well constructed. Vintage shaker-style birds eye maple candle stand with spider legs manufactured by Hagerty Cohasset Colonial, Cohasset, Massachusetts. Beautiful patina! Table is tight and sturdy. Wonderful form with round top with soft under bevel edge raised on a turned column and three sweet spider legs. Maker's marks under top. Finest quality materials and craftsmanship.
